REAP aims to provide quality educational opportunities for adults in the rural community who are disadvantaged by their rural location (Taupo District is classed as rural). 

The three priorities for ACE funding are:

  • target learners whose initial learning was not successful
  • raise foundation skills
  • strengthen social cohesion, enhancing a learner’s ability to participate in society and economic life.
