Literacy & Numeracy Support

If you are an adult who struggles with digital literacy, reading, writing or maths, this could be for you.

The Intensive Literacy and Numeracy programme provides free, high quality learning opportunities for learners with low-level literacy and numeracy skills.

Here at Central Plateau REAP we use computers to support students to improve their literacy and numeracy through Pathways Awarua and the ICDL Computer Course.

Learner Eligibility

To be eligible for enrolment in a free ILN programme, a learner must:

  • be a New Zealand citizen or permanent resident of New Zealand
  • have low skill levels in literacy and/or numeracy.
  • be over 16 years old
  • complete 100 hours
