Literacy & Numeracy Support


If you are an adult who struggles with reading, writing or maths, this could be for you.

The Intensive Literacy and Numeracy programme provides free, high quality literacy, language and numeracy learning opportunities for learners with low-level literacy and numeracy skills.

Here at Central Plateau REAP we use computers to support students to improve their literacy and numeracy through Pathways Awarua and the ICDL Computer Course.

Learner Eligibility

To be eligible for enrolment in an ILN-funded programme, a learner must:

        be over 16 years old

        complete 100 hours

  •          be a New Zealand citizen or permanent resident of New Zealand

            have low skill levels in literacy and/or numeracy as assessed by the TEO.
